This was an exceptional night!!!!  Well done to all those that helped!! Showing that it really is a team effort!!

It was good to be back at Crackers after the summer off. The staff are great and look after us.

The whole night was a brilliant success. Thanks to the new guys on the crew - Garry & Kev who did a great job on the door and on the stall as well as setting up and de rigging at the end!!! Also to Boris's sister Wend for helping on the stall.

It was fantastic to see new friends there as well as old friends - names still escape me in my sketchy state. Good to see Zeeboo & Bel who brought along Massage Chris who did massaging ( thanks for mine!!!) It was especially fab & meant alot to me to see my boss Brisky ( www.monster-tunes.com  / www.cdjshop.com  ) there who is a staunch Trance fan and vinyl junkie who had a great time and was dancing away at the back!!

Rich, Padster, Keith and anyone else I have been too sketchy to remember!!!

Big huge thanks to all the dj's - who pounded those decks, this time Fungi-Ps'd went first as he had to go to a motorbike track day  up North after, but raised the stakes early and got everyone in the mood. Didn't the special projections look good on his head! Boris went on to keep everyone bopping and Toad followed with a great set warming up nicely for Dick Trevor. Dick played a fantastic set with a lot of tunes from the new AMD album which will be out soon. we were all amazed and the dance floor rocked right till the end with shouts of more!!! He is a legend!!!

They couldn't have done it without Frank who came along from Twisted Clarity with his Opus PA. He did a fantastic job and the sound was awsome. He is passionate about his responsibility and kept an eye on things all night. We will be using him and no-one else from now on.

Thanks to EVERYONE involved!!! See you next month for more mayhem!!!!

Some comments...

I'm not sure I'm quite fixed yet, we were s'posed to go out last night - but the sofa proved to have too big a hold over me - I wasn't going anywhere!

I was late arriving on Friday so missed all of Giles set ..... good to be back at Toadstool after the break, quite overwhelmed at seeing all the familiar faces at once - so many people to hug! Lots of messageboard peeps too - Bel, ZeeBoo, Festivalchooks, Festive Al, Padster, Garry, Trikki, Massage Chris - sorry I never came back for a proper massage (though you performed a minor miracle on my left hand as I suffer from some sort of arthritic condition which disappeared altogether on Friday).

Unfortunately I was a bit out of sorts for a while and spent quite a considerable amount of time staring down the toilet  & consequently missed most of Boris too ...... grrrrr. But enjoyed what I did manage to catch!

However at last I perked up ...... and just in time for a stomping set from Toad - or maybe it was his stomping set that brought me round & I soon made up for lost time dancing, grinning & stomping to all of Toad and Dick Trevor's sets - excellent.

Hope Keith had a good birthday - he seemed to be enjoying himself whenever I saw him . Huge thanks to Sam & Shaun and their incredible friend who came and picked us at 4.30 in the morning and took us back to Cheltenham - thanks for the coffee & hospitality - we'll have to get together soon....! Tim - where did you go? :? Great to dance with you Debbie - you're as mad as a box of frogs - but that's a good thing & with Padster too - he was rarely, if ever off the dancefloor!

I loved the effects in dj box - good work, I thought the light effect looked especially good on Dick Trevor's bald head The place looks better and better & lots of new faces too. Well Done Toadstool!
